Passing issues with fullbacks

Hi guys,

Does anyone else have major issues with fullbacks/wingbacks playing far too many long passes?

It's beginning to get incredibly frustrating, every other part of the pitch keep the ball well and pass it relatively well except for my fullbacks who when receive the ball are instantly pinging the ball up to my wingers. Here's a couple of screenshots on how the formation & instructions are set out;

Retain possession and be more disiplinced are prob the most obvious choices.

do you have a target man? I have seen that some times players just try to kick it straight to the target man mate

No 'Target Man' set as a role, I use a mixture of deep lying forward, advanced & F9.

The be more disciplined seemed to help, maybe it's just an issue with the poor abilities of my full backs. Will see after the transfer window after I've signed a couple of new ones.

On a side note, still managing to hit 75%+ overall passing accuracy with the defence coming in at 60-65%. Irritates me watching my FBs squandering possession. Think if I had them playing under me I'd strangle the ******* haha.
