Sorry, I'm new to this, but if I install a new patch for FM (from 10.1 to 10.2 for example) will my current savegame (created on 10.1) work on the newly-patched version?
Patch compatibility with current savegame?

i think the only patch right NOW was only 10.1.0 & 10.1.1 
the save game from 10.1.0 was compatible with 10.1.1, because 10.1.1 just fixed bugs problem in gameplay (not the database).
it's different with 9.1 & 9.3 on last FM ('coz that patch updating the database too, so you must start a new game)

Even if you go through a update that changes databases you can still play the old game, since afaik the database is in the savegame file. What happens with that it's that the patch's database changes won't be in effect in the old saves.
