Hi,
When signing a new player - or re-signing an existing one - after the final games of a season, but before the official season change-over, will any yearly bonus that we agree be added to his salary when the season changes?
I believe that it is added, which seems wrong to me.
I also seem to be unable to set the start of contract date to the first day of the new season.
For example,
I want to sign player X for my team, and I want to get it done quickly as there is other interest.
So, I agree a contract with him that includes, say 500 euros a week with a 10% yearly increase.
A few weeks later, the season change-over happens and his salary is now up to 550 euros a week, but the guy hasn't kicked a ball for my team yet.
Surely a yearly bonus should be first added after a year of service.
Any feedback much appreciated as this is killing my squad management!
