Hello,
Tomorrow I have to teach a small group of year 10's(my year) for hockey in Sports Leadership. Does anyone have any suggestions for and cool downs. I have stretching and jogging but I need one more.
Please help me!

Depends on how high a level of intensity the class goes through.

Generally, a spot of dynamic stretching is enough. Light plymetrics even.

Why on earth do you need three cool downs? But yeah, henerally the best thing to do when coaching children is have them play games to warm up/ cool down as they are, after all, children, and they want to have fun.

Anyway, not sure why you need three cool downs, don't think I did three when doing my coaching but I can't for the life of me remember. I would suggest using one of the many generic warm up/ cool down games, I'm sure you can remember the ones you played as a kid. If not then google it.

Or you could just be a paedophile like Dunc and put them in an ice bath?

Thanks for the help. I will close this thread now as I have to finish my lesson plan and print it off.
