Just thought i would as quickly to see a general consensus.

Is anyone else having an issue with not scoring penalties in open play?

I have had my last 5 in a row saved. Anyone experienced something similar?
 
I haven't experienced that. Penalties are saved more frequently than in past version (Edited as my finger slipped and added an s that shouldn't be), that's true. I haven't had enough yet to be able to tell for sure if too many or not, though. I also know, among the matches I watch of real football, I see a lot of penalties saved as well, so it feels right in my PC.

no the penaltys are bugged ibrahimovic & rooney both missing a penalty in the same match against bournemouth is not realistic lol
 
James Milner hasn't missed one yet for me 2 seasons in...Mignolet does save an awful lot of penalties though
 
No issues for me, one missed in my first season and plenty scored (Icardi was the taker).

Few scored against me and a couple saved, seems realistic/fair to me.
 
Seems fine this year but I was having serious trouble on FM15 with pens, I'd score 1 in every 5.
 
Well I've had my last 3 saved so I'm beginning to think getting them make no difference lol
 
I had 2 penalty shootouts in the first 2 Capital one cup matches...in the first one my keeper saved all 3 penalties taken by them (won 3-0) and in the second one he saved all 5 penalties (won 1-0, i also missed 3...so overall 8 of 9 were missed)
 
Conceded 5 pens in last 6 games and I've missed 2 in 2, one of which was in the last minute and would've won the game

Im having a problem scoring pens aswell, I have Dybala,Ozil & cazola all missing constantly even tried rotating them
 
I don't get excited or happy any more when I'm awarded a penalty.. This is terrible, never scoring from penalties but every time I concede a penalty the opposition score, no prob.
 
Penalties are shocking, probably the main, and one of the only, downsides so far
 
I've missed 3 out of 5. After firs two misses I take out the players from the penalty list.
 
I'm having the same problem with penalties. My freekicks are more reliable than the penalties
 
It's absolutely ridiculous. My team (Everton) have taken around 12 penalties this season, scoring only one. I have seen keepers save penalties which were going in the absolute upper-right corner of the goal. It is physically impossible to save such a well taken penalty.
 
A lot more are saved on this version but I wouldn't say its ridiculously bad. I had about 7/8 pens in first season and prob scored about 5/6, whereas on FM15 (my favourite) ya scored every one. I'd say it's a little more realistic to be honest
 
The most strange thing is hapenning, almost every time I get a highlight with a side freekick being crossed into my box, they get awarded a penalty. It's like 9 out of 10. Honestly it's ruining my fun. It brings me back memories from the Commodore Amiga, when playing The Manager, the game had like 10 different plays, so you from the start you already knew which ones ended with a goal! And now everytime I see a freekick bombed into my box... there we go again, a penalty!
