PES 2012

What does age have to do with anything? I'm 22, and cant see what makes PES so 'realistic'? Goalkeepers are slow and *****, Throw ins are slow, the game lags in offline mode, etc.

I was really tempted to buy PES this year, after hearing such good things, but after playing the game at a friends house, and playing the demo, I just can't see it being enjoyable, but rather frustrating.

In real football/life GKs cant be as fast as a thunderbolt, can they? I mean, slowness=reality at some points, the same goes for throw ins in general.. maybe you are right for saying that they are lil bit slow, cuz in real life throw ins can be fast and slow.. on PES, they are only slow.. but thats it.

i disagree with lagging in offline mode? i dont have any problem with that? what kind of pc do you own? maybe its you? or idk.

with fifa, i cant experience different situations, goals etc etc. its always been the same, its boring really.
at the same time, on PES YOU CANT score 2 EXACTLY SAME goals in a row, you always experience difference throughout.

thats why PES wins my personal vote, and thats why I think people over 20s will have the eyes and honesty to say whats what(that fifa is nowhere near pes on the matter of gameplay)..

defo, nothing is perfect in this world, im i right. it only improves.

this ones improving big, and i like the AI movements , unlike last years pes2011.

Cant believe the sprint bug is still in there. Its destroying my enjoyment. Nothing worse than your player sprinting clear only for him to stop dead without warning. Nice work Konami, especially as it was in last years too and plenty of people complained then and were told a fix was being worked on.

lol yeah. idk how, just saw it in some pes forum.

but there's like 50+ celebration moves to chose from . i maybe haven't found it yet, or its just a hidden feature (easter egg) in PES XD

I'm 19, so I guess I must be wrong, I'll learn the error of my ways in the months leading up to my 20th Birthday though I'm sure.

PES isn't as realistic due to the absolutely awful animations in my opinion, everything the players do looks silly and unnatural.

Cheers. After some investigating on good old Google i managed to find a fix. changed my HD settings to run at 60Hz instead of 50Hz. The game won't work properly on 50Hz apparently.

Not played PES12 yet this year, willing to give it a go though. Would like to play BAL because I've heard good things

Not sure if anyone else is playing PES this year but I'm loving the Master League. Half way through the first season and FM Base FC are in 2nd place, I've promised the players I won't make them wear the 80's shorts in the second season if we get promoted.

I'm really missing Castolo though, gutted they retired him. Gutierrez is a bit disappointing this year as well which is a shame because he was always my favourite.
