I think Gerrard deserved it, he's been great all season. I would of give Cesc or Darren the young player award myself though.

Gerrard deserved player of the year, he's been the heart and soul of the Liverpool which has acheived so much, they aren't the same without him, and the same oges for Man U and Rooney, I think the choices were pretty good, certainly no popularity contest

Can't really argue with either of the winners in my eyes. Gerrard has been probably the best he carries Liverpool on his shoulders and he is a good captain for them. Bit of a shock that he won it though.

Could see Rooney winning this one he has been the best young player this season without a doubt, Cesc hasn't been playing good for long enough hes only just come on really.
