Well, I think there are better right backs, however this is just my opinion, I prefer Ramos by far though.
 
how many times have we seen him ballon a shot over the bar when their an easier ball on for him

i think alves is awesome, attacks well, defends well enough, adds a lot to barca when he plays

in what way is he great at defending. have you ever watched him play he is never where he is supposed to be. probably the most over-rated player in the world in my opinion.
 
He reminds of a Brazilian Glen Johnson.

fair enough then. i've always thought some people only think he is good because he is one of the only high profile right backs in the world. After him and alves who is their? When i think about it wes brown in his prime 2007-08 is not that laughable.
 
maicon is good aswell, but he reli is bad a defending

It really depends, Ramos and alves are good but ive never rated them highly just because i never watch spanish football much but when i do watch they ramos and alves are absolutely **** defensively and attacking the amount of times ive seen them balloon a shot over the crossbar is beyond laughable i almost cry. They are always caught out of position aswell and have always had the centre backs next to them to cover for them.

If ramos and alves went to a top four club in england they would have no chance of succeeding but thats just my opinion. i would prefer sagna and clichy than them.

ill post my world eleven team soon just thinking of players in my head atm.
