hi guys

I am playing with chelsea a 4-2-3-1 system. Its my first season but after 25 games I attend in the third place and 10 points behind man utd.

team information:
-Fluid
-Attacking or control system
-Short passing
-normal defense line, with play, middle tempo, time wasting sometimes

player roles and duties:
czech (gk defend)
boswinga (fb automatic) a. cole (fb automatic) terry and mexes (cd defend)
essien (anochor man mc defend) ramires (dlp support)
Anelka (winger attack) Malouda (winger attack) lampard (amc attack)
drogba (complete forward support)

lampard and terry are playing very bad. below 6.80

and I am struggling at home against weaker teams.

What should I do the perform better?

thx

4-1-2-1-2 . obi mikel as deep lying playmaker, defend . essin, ball winning midfielder, ramires as a box to box and Lampard, advanced playmaker ..

Your wingers are too attacking, put them on support. Also move at least 1 of your DMs up to a CM, maybe Ramires (Box to Box) and Essien (Deep Playmaker)

essien maybe better as box to box?? then anelka could do well as a inside forward and lampard maybe a advanced playmaker or tetraquista

Essien as Box to Box,not too sure about Ramires but Lampard as Adv Playmaker and you can do better by playing Anelka as Adv Forward

Set Terry to a limited defender stopper and Mexes as a ball playing defender cover, that should work perfectly. Also set Malouda to an inside forward and Lampard to a support duty. Get a better winger than Anelka maybe Modric or just set Anelka to move into channels like a striker would to support Drogba. I would use a fluid philosphy with Chelsea and I would play narrow with more direct passing to Drogba.

How many players should I set on attack? 4-2-3-1 system.

what strategy should I use with a fluid philosophy?

whats the difference between narrow and width play? as a attacking strategy and with wingers shouldnt I play a more wider style?

thx
