The Beast is a well-known name for football fans across Europe. Having scored on his South Korea debut against San Marino in March 2010, The Beast has gone on to make 92 appearances and score 65 goals for his country.
The Beast began his career at CSKA Moscow in 2009, making a total of 42 appearances and scoring 10 goals for the club, During this time he also spent time on loan at Sporting Lokeren OVI, making 12 appearances and scoring 8 goals.
In 2012/13 he joined Hannover 96, making 106 league appearances and scoring 62 goals.
In 2016/17 he joined C. At. Osasuna for £11M and made 45 league appearances and scored 21 goals.
In 2018 he joined Zenit St. Petersburg for £14.75M and made 24 league appearances and scored 11 goals.
