Player --> Coach

So I have started my second season with Man Utd and Giggs is taking up too much wages. He has agreed to become a coach and to start immediately, but he is still in my squad.

Is there anyway I can remove him from my squad and stop paying him 70k p/w?

Try offering him a new contract

Yeah he needs a coach contract,since he is still signed as a player.
Have the save "issue" with Carragher.

Just because he's agreed to become a coach doesn't mean he automatically becomes one. Have you offered him a new contract?
