sorry being a noob here, but with player editing, what does it mean when a player has a minus potential ability?

for example, a player has a current ability of 105 and has a potential ability of -10. what does this mean?

It means that he could become a wonderkid in one save,but in others,has good potential but will just flop.

-10 : Between 175 & 200
-9: Between 160 & 180
And as you go down to -8, -7 etc the potential decreases
