player ineligible?

now I'm assuming their is some weird UEFA rule about this but I want to make sure:

In this screenshot it states that my Goalkeeper is ineligible for having played in this competition with another team

Yet this screenshot on the squad list on the right shows him starting for me. I believe he played in the both Playoff games as well as 4 of the 6 group games as well.


Any reason why his all of a sudden unable to play for me?

Actually the more I think of it, if my Player's previous club drops from the Champions league to Europa league, it makes him illegible. I think some discussion of Luis Suarez after his transfer said something along those lines that if Ajax go to Europa, he can't play for Liverpool.
