Player not getting enough attention during tactics training

I have two questions concerning training.

I have been getting a lot of messages recently telling me that a number of my players are unhappy with their training schedule because they aren't getting enough coaching attention during tactics training. Yet my tactics coach has an average workload and training quality is three and a half stars. Can anybody give me any hints on where the problem might lie?

While we are on training, I'd also be keen to know whether specialising in a training category makes the others redundant. In my current save I've earned promotion into Sky Bet League One a season or two early, and am on 2000-1 to earn promotion, so I'm focusing very much on a defending and have my team training so set. To what extent does this make my coaches focusing on other coaching categories (fitness and goalkeeping aside) redundant?

How many players do you have in senior training? Average means exactly that: not great but not bad. Hire more coaches.
The stars just say how good they are at training in that category, not how many players they're training.

The training focus (general training) just means which attributes your training regimes are primarily focused on and have a higher chance of increasing if they put in good ***** in training.

I have a squad of 24. I have six coaches training the General Category, and coach workload is average on tactics, ball control and defending, but heavy on attacking and shooting. I'm playing Woking and having been promoted into Sky Bet 1 by the freak of moving from 10th to 7th in Sky Bet 2 in the final round last year and then winning the playoff matches, my promotion bonuses were a little too high. I have hired some extra staff but I am wary of hiring more until I know both whether I can stay up and how much money I will be making given Woking's low attendances.

Staff don't cost that much. Have your specialized coaches who take one or two areas, and then hire general coaches who take every section just to lower the coaches workload. If you're getting high workloads with 6 coaches, you might want to think about how many players you've in your U21s as they train with the senior team/ increase the workload.

Thanks for the advice guys. I guess I'll look to hire another coach.

Solution (?)

Click "Training" --> "Coaches" --> "Ask Assistant to Assign". Unless you assign your coaches duty by yourself, this will solve the problem in couple of weeks. Hope. ;)
