Player playing for two clubs same season.

I have a young defender who i signed on a free transfer. So far into the season i realised he was under contract with both us (leeds) and Juventus. Its like theres a glitch cause if he plays for Juventus the same day we have a game then i can't pick him to play.

Has anyone had this problem before and know what to do? Ive offered him a new contract to see if id get 100% ownership but all I've done is give him more money.
