Player registered to two team at the same time

I signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, and he requested a weekly payment from Real Madrid before accepting a lower wage at my club. They granted the request, and the transfer went through as normal. But now he appears in both mine and Madrid's squad lists, and he has now played a game for Madrid in the champions league, and was unavailable for my CL fixture

Any ideas how to rectify this?

are you using a custom database? if yes then thats the problem otherwise a brand new bug....

I haven't made any changes to the database or anything else in the game.

You should probably take him to court. I don't think having two full-time contracts at the same time is very legal.
