player role changing

hi i'm using Man Utd midway 3rd season now and i've noticed that some of my players' suitable roles have changed
like anderson from BWM-support becomes a DLP-support
and then sigurdsson from AP-support to trequartista
and most of my wingers turn into left or right wingers with AP duty
is it possible that along with some improvements in their attributes,player duties also change??

Yes, it does happen quite often actually. To name a few that changes in some of my saves. Adam Johnson went from wide midfielder to inside forward. Crisetig went from DLP to Anchor and Rondon went from TM to Poacher. There are more but these are just some examples to point out it does happen and it was not your brain deceiving you!
