Player roles for 3 centre backs?

I'm currently playing with 3 centre backs - stopper, defender, stopper with wing backs on either side but I keep getting hit on the counter by a long ball beyond my defence :/ any suggestions?

On the team instructions set defensive line to lower.
Also set duties to cover (1 or 2 defenders not all 3) as these will drop behind the line to clear up through balls whereas a stopper will rush out causing the line to go higher.

Will that be a good idea given that my instructions are to hassle opponents?

Yes, on the player instructions put 'close down less' to the players set as cover and this should counter this while the others pressure the ball.

I'm with Inter in the first season and I've kept all my CBs. I'm playing Juan as the covering defender
