Player stats plummeting upon arrival at team

Hi,

With my current lower division team, I've just had a couple of young transfers join my team, then seen their stats diminish in a number of areas within a few months, lots of red arrows on their profile.

Is this a common problem with adjusting to new country, or could it be because I have relatively poor facilities? My coaches are above average across the board.

Probably need time to adapt but that much I am not sure about. Facilities are key but I don't knw how they are decreasing, I thought it would just stunt growth :/

Well a few weeks later one of the guys was reported as being homesick.....maybe that had something to do with it. And the other guy had been bought from Chelsea, who probably had better coaches and facilities, so maybe he was coming back down to earth, so to speak. Not sure.
