Player Tutoring annoyance

I put players with the same personality together. Yet quite a few times, the players 'personalities clash' and they can't work with each other. I'm starting to think with even all this advise on putting players with the same personalities together isn't always the case.

In the latest case, I put Brazilian Right Winger (Regen) named Lenny with Dirk Kuyt. I set his tutoring to 'Follow Dirk Kuyt's Approach to the game'. So I wanted him to gain his mentality stats, as he was weak in that area. Despite having a good amount of first team football.

Is anyone else having these problems?

yeah its kinda erratic I think. Soemtimes peopel with totally difefrent personnalities do well together. A good one is to turorate by world class players, if any or very reputated players, at least they don't go ''I don't know what I'll learn'', they're eager but still I agree with you, its very random. FM should actually seriously think about making a decent manual, the game isn't THAT realistic that you can play only with your football knowledge, they need to realise its a game, and a full of bugs one.

yeah some of the bugs are awesome, its part of fms charm, but yeah I don't use the tutoring as it seems totally random

It might be a stupid qustion, but I haven't found the answer anywhere, how can I do this. I mean getting a player to tutor another.

EDIT: thought I could tutor any young player so I hadn't checked my u19 team

i always go onto the player you wont to tutor and see if they like the player and they seem to always get a good response from them

It's always good to get a really respected player to tutor, such as (for me) Giggs, Scholes, Neville and VDS. The younger players always look up to them and learn a lot. That works for me...

go to the players profile the one you want 2 be tutored and click on player interaction
if it is possible 2 tutor them it will come up saying so and with the other players name

Tutoring

Im Rangers F.C in the SPL and i am in my third season. i have won two trebles and hav found using a mixture of both expericence and youth in my team too have a fantastic effect. I find that players of the same nationallity and similar personallities usually go well together, for example i have J.Mcfadden tutoring J.Fleck which is working really well. Also i have found that if the players have good relationships they go well together.GregorL11
