When asking a youngster to learn from a senior player, there are 3 options:
a) State that you see "X" as the ideal role model for "Y"
b) State that you think "X" would benefit by adopting "Y"'s approach to the game
c) State that you think "X" can learn from "Y"
What's the difference between each option??? Does one help advance technical skills, whilst another helps with mental attributes???
And how do you know which player would be the "right" tutor for which youngster???
I've fumbled my way thru this for a while now, so thought it was about time I asked and found out for certain!!!
