Player unavailable for next match??? Ismael Fuentes

Hello there,
I signed Ismael Fuentes on a free for Birmingham, but he is unavailable (red box - says unavailable for next match). I can't find out why or for how long. Can anyone enlighten me???

Could be that you need to register him, he's traveling to play an international match or he could be cup-tied (If your next fixture is a cup game)

He is probably not registred for the league. Click squad, then go to the squad drop meny to the right and click register.
Naturally he could be cup-tied or banned for life, but thats other issues

Hmm, no, I've definitely registered him and it is preseason. He has been unavailable for all matches and it doesn't say why. Is there nowhere where it might tell me if he is banned for life!?

And you not use à " cheat" to buy him for free from à club he just recently signed for ?
