Have any of you noticed that despite stunning performances and bags of goals/assists, the values of your 'best' players seem to go down?

I have several signings of 10-20m and after 2,3,4 seasons they are worth half as much, despite great seasons and great average ratings (7.5+). And not to mention they are now in their 'Prime'.

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem?

Well, if you over pay for them, you can hardly expect their values to stay inflated, they will change over the course of the season, depending on CA, Reputation and form.

EDIT: Forgot to include Rep.

it depends on your club stature etc etc, some of my great players for my Dinamo Kiev team are only like 2.2 million etc and they are Milevskiy, Yussuf, Diakhate, Vokojevic etc...

just depends what club you are and how much over the odds you actually spent on them, their value will decrease to their appropriate value at your club

I never pay over the odds, i will use Verratti as an example for this.

In my 5th season he was worth 8million, I managed to sign him for 10.5 million, over the odds?

Now later on in my game he is 28 years old the 'prime' for midfielders, his value is 6.5 million. After many great season where he got 20+ assists and 10+ goals, just does not seem to make sense to me.

Depends on a lot of things:Club stature,rep,PA,contract value,CA

Although I remember when in the 10.0 patch I brought Busquets over to Barca from Baraclona AT.......His value shot up by 6-8million
