I have a problem with my player's contract renewal. I played every FM and this is the first time I can't do anything

it's my second season, I'm playing with Bayern. I have 12 millions to spend on transfers but I must renew contract to schweinsteiger and lahm. they are key players and they ask about 500-600 thousand a month, I can only go to 475 and they will not accept it even with all benefits. asked the board, they won't give me, adjusted budget but there is no progress, same amount, added another 1 mil. to wages but can't go over 475. has anyone solved this problem or is it a bug?

This looks very concerning but maybe Bayern have a wage cap. Have you tried offering 475k a month yet to see if they accept. Usually if you let there contract run down a bit more, they will not request as much.

I tryied everything

this is not a first time, I played also with tottenham a season and with real madrid, same thing happened, even when I buy player it doesn't allow me big wage for him, I bought Kjaer, he wanted a lot more and I had to put clauses for him, even yearly wage rise and then he accepted but when it is a contract renewal time,l nothing helps (

It looks as though your only option is to sell or let contract run down and then offer a new contract.

What about the fee they get for signing new contract, have you tried upping that?

yes, I tried even that but they ask for 5 milion at start, I can only go to 2,8. they won't lower their demands below 4. I am going crazy

they are too good players for letting their contract expire and then try to sing them, they will even then ask that amount of cash. and sure that someone will offer them at half season and that I can't match

Have you tried selling some of your less key players to free up some room in the wage budget as well as your transfer budget.
