Player wants to come but won't open contract negotiations?

I'm trying to sign Ozil, and my bid is always accepted. He's unhappy and wants to leave his club but when i offer him a contract he never wants to do it.

So then I think, maybe he doesn't want to join my club(im only newcastle like) but I scouted him and it says he would be extremely interested in joining....what's going on????

I would sack him and get a new one

try admiring him in the press, and declaring interest. might make him more wiling to join. also try rescouting him again. something may have changed

Have you checked if his agent dislikes you ?
I had a £180M offer accepeted for Messi on my Liverpool save, I had won the Premership four times running & Champions League twice. Also i was a favourite personal to Messi from all the *** kissing i done in the press about him.

But when i went to hold talks with him i was unable to, Because his agent disliked me for some unknown reason

how do you stop the agent disliking you? I think i have a similar problem with a player renewal contract - we all want him to renew it but the renewal screen isn't letting me!!
