Players becoming icons

Is it actually possible for a player to become an icon at a club?

Pretty sure it is if you play long enough, or if you're Chelsea or someone and Lampard/Terry would likely become one, or Utd where I imagine current players like Giggs and G.Nev already are.

Yeah, it's a lot easier this year. I've got a save in late 2020's and lots of players have become icons and even legends at there clubs.|)

My Wolfsburg save..
Dzeko and myself became Legends at the club, and Milevskyi was an Icon before he signed for Bochum (local rivals) where he then just disappeared from all lists.
