Players Closing Down & Defensive Line

Hi

I was wondering what others set their defensive line to in relation to the closing down

I currently have the following closing down settings for the players and am unsure where I should position the defensive line

GK - 6
CB - 6
FB - 14
CM(defend) - 10
CM(support) - 10
W - 16
DLF - 18
P - 10

I'm playing a control strategy with short passing in a flat 4-4-2 with the following players roles

GK - Keeper (defend)
FB - Full Back (support)
FB - Full Back(support)
CB - Centre Back (defend)
CB - Centre Back (defend)
W - Winger (attack)
W - Winger(attack)
CM - Centre Mid (defend)
CM - Centre Mid(support)
FW - Deep Lying Fwd (support)
FW - Poacher (attack)

I feel that I'm strongest on the wings so I have set the width to 16.
I prefer to play with a slow tempo so I have set the tempo to 6
I have left the time wasting as default so this is set to 8

I don't give any creative freedom to my players except for the Centre Mid(support) who I have set to 16. All of the other players are set to 0

All of the players have short passing and are all set to 0

Following advice from various forum members I have changed my players mentality to the following:

GK - 7
CB - 6
FB - 9
CM(defend) - 8
CM(support) - 10
W - 11
FW - 12
P - 13
