Okay firstly ive created my own team and gave myself 80 mil to buy a full squad to survive relegation. my team is:

GK Smithies
DL Shorey
DR Hutton
DC Yobo
DC Wheater
AMR Milner
AML Di Maria
DM Sandro/ Topal
MC Osman/ Defour
ST Defoe/ Cardozo/ Zaki / Vieri

first of all as you can see most of my team is British so would that effect my teams gelling? and how long will it take to gel.

LOL you have given yourself 80m to avoid relegation!

Iv never understood why people do this on FM whats the point in playing a game when your blatantly cheating, i dont see what you get out of the game?

Why dont you start a proper season without cheating or using any editors, then eventually you`ll be able to answer the original question yourself!

What he means is that hes given himself a team with no players and spent 80mil to create an entire squad, not just to improve it.
As for the question, i think players who are english and have played in the premier league dont have to adapt as much, therefore they will gel quicker i guess as they have experience of the league. obviously the best way to make them gel would be to have lots of friendlies and get them as much gametime together before the start of the season, and hope they gel quick enough. if the players are good enough (which they seem to be, i think youve done a good job putting that squad together considering some of the prices on fm) then you should be ok and be able to get enough points at the start of the season to give you a chance to be able to get away from relegation when the players have gelled.
obviously, tactics that suit your players will help them gel better

I did something like this in FM09 and gave myself a bit more money than that. I was 11th by christmas, no change in tactics and finished 4th. Give it about half a season if your starting from scratch

yeah read the opening post mate, umm the team will take a while, most players came from different clubs

Should have gave yourself less to make it more of a challenge.

u should just pick tactics and if they arent working after like 10 games then u should change

You can check how well your team are gelling by going to team talk feedback through your assistant manager.

It was really hard just to get the players i have now, alot of clubs want over-the-odds for the defenders. i struggled to put that team together
