I have created a tactic with a 4411 formation, using a wide playmaker on the right side and an advanced playmaker as an amc to open up space for my right wing back to make runs, it is working well, he is constantly finding open spaces on the right flank, but I never get my players to pass him... I have tried everything, went on from pass into spaces up to short/direct passes, more through balls, exploit the middle or exploit the flanks... nothing works... I am playing very narrow and my wing back is set as stay wider... The AI always manages it pretty well, playing around until space opens up for their overlapping full backs and one ball + one cross and it is finished with a goal...
Really desperate as this could make me create much more chances...
I am thinking about it could be either due to the rest of the team is set to play much narrower and the winger becomes isolated or due to the setting work ball into the box so that my players force to keep ball in the near of the box and play rather narrow and centrally than playing it out wide...
