players lose ability

Whenever I bring in a 4-5* player they begin to lose half a star to a full star within a few weeks, why is this happening and how can I stop it? Or better yet how I can improve other players' ability to reach their expected potential? :S

scouts/coaches are not always right mate some players go up after a while and some drop!

Do your coaches/***. man and scouts have the same PA and PP ratings. If your scout has 20 20 but your ***. man has only 15 17 then your ***. man will judge them differently.
