Players Registers?

Hi This is my first post, Im Sheffield Wednesday and needed to sign a center mid and a right winger for the january transfer window, for some reason now that i've signed them it won't let me register them, i've only got 20 players registered and the limit is 25 plus adding these two would still keep me within other registration limits.
is this a known bug or have i missed something?

have you tried clicking auto select,think you have to clear the selection first,i think near the end of the transfer window you will get a news item asking to select squad regristration it may work then
