Playing the same save on two seperate computers

I want to be able to play the same save on two seperate computers but I'm not sure how to? I've tried transfering the game file via usb but it doesn't work. Is there a way I can do it through Steam?

Transferring the file each time via USB should work.

Make sure u paste it at the correct folder...
