Pogrebnyak (Fulham) is about as useful as a chicken with its head cut off.

I play Pogrebnyak as a target man along with Dembele (Poacher), Dempsey (Advanced playmaker or winger), and/or Ruiz (Winger).

Whenever a midfielder/winger kicks the ball to Pogrebnyak, he just runs back into the midfield and passes it to a winger or a forward. He just doesn't take any shots or tries to run towards the goal.

How can I help him go for the goal?

Try playing Pogrebnyak as a Complete Forward. Also, cracking title by the way.
