Points system?

I had an idea of something we could add to FM-Base. What if we added a points system to the forums like this addon (or anything similar):

People could get points for different things like making kits for people, posting helpful information, winning KotW competitions, etc. If we wanted we could have people use their points on things like kit requests or logos. Just an idea, but I think it would be a fun addition.

It is kinda similar to the thanks feature in a way. That could be used.

We used to have a reputation system, in fact its still installed on the site and I think you all have reputation points....you lot just can't see them.

It was a big cause of nit picky arguements, spamming and general arseness (much like having post counts on display).

So I think the "like" system is good enough for us.
