Thread Purpose
To make it easier to organise trades/battles between people without their invitations/offers getting jumbled up in the existing Pokémon thread, which has grown huge by this forum's standards.
Regarding Trades
When you're stating which Pokémon you have for trade, please use a clear and understandable format. See below for an example (not an actual trade):
Trading:
------------------
Level 10 Pikachu - Gentle nature
- Thundershock
- Thunder Wave
- Quick Attack
- Tail Whip
Level 15 Machop - Adamant nature
- Low Kick
- Karate Chop
- Seismic Toss
- Focus Punch
Looking for:
--------------------
Charmander - Any nature
- Moves not important
Squirtle - Bashful nature
- Surf
- Other moves not important
Regarding Battles
If you want to arrange a battle, then please specify which battle you are looking for, i.e. Single or Double, as well as the level-range you wish to use, i.e. Level 50, Level 100, or No-Limit.
Any additional rules you wish to implement should also be specified. A popular rule amongst battlers is prohibiting the use of 'Legendaries'. You may wish to include this when requesting a battle partner.
One last thing:
When responding to a person's battle/trade request, please try and keep the amount of 'personal conversation' to a minimum to avoid cluttering the thread. It's preferable that you take the deal/challenge to PMs/VMs. This thread is merely to initiate trades/battles between members on this forum and for offering feedback thereafter.

Instructions for setting up Nintendo DS WiFi
Code:
1. On a computer connected to your network, either click the windows key + 'r' (Windows Vista / Seven), or click 'Run' on the start menu.
2. Type [B]'cmd[/B]' in the bar and press 'Ok' to open up command prompt
3. Enter [B]'ipconfig[/B]' in command prompt and press enter
4. Scroll up to where it says:
"[B]Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection[/B]"
5. Take note of the specified "[B]Default Gateway[/B]" and enter it into your browser to access your router settings
6. You should be greeted with a page dedicated to your router manufacturer. 192.168.1.1, for example, gives me access to my Netgear router settings.
7. Depending on your router, there should be a 'Wireless Settings' page or something similar which you can change if you wish.
8. On the appropriate settings page, change your security encryption to [B]WEP[/B]. This will usually be set by default as WPA by most modern routers. If it is already at WEP, then you[B] do not need[/B] to change anything.
9. Generate an encrypted key and note it down, as you'll need this to connect to the WiFi from both your computer and the DS.
10. Go to the main menu on Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver and choose the wireless settings option.
11. Follow the simple instructions and enter the newly-created encryption key when asked.
12. You should then be able to connect to the WiFi when in the Pokémon centre, provided the WEP key you have entered is correct.
