Alright lads.

About 3 years ago (I was 13/14) my brother taught me to player Texas Hold'em poker. Since then I've watched it as much as I can, watched videos on Youtube etc as-well. Most of my mates can play too and we normally play every Friday. Six of us put a tenner in, get a bit of alcohol, have a good game a bit of a laugh and a nice £60 for the winner :)

Do anyone of you guys play it/watch it or express any interest in it whatsoever?
 
Used to be a BIG poker fan actually. Watched most of the tv stuff, and used to be a handy player. Must be about 6 months since me and my mates stopped our weekly game :(

It's a good laugh and you get so much excitement out of what is essentially a card game :)

Play www.skypoker.com quite regularly actually, very good site and a nice little earner for me. I see myself as a bit of a pro. Would be cool to set up an online tournament for FM-Basers actually!

Aye Hansen is a good player, I'm a fan of Joe Cada and Scotty Ngoyen too (H)

I'd be up for a tournament.

I played poker for about 2 years when I was at university. Love the game, and miss it immensely now I am at home.
 
Used to go down to the pub on Sundays or Saturdays in my dressing gown and play Texas Hold 'Em with the lads.
 
Love abit of Texas Hold'Em play with me mates few times a month and used to play at casino while back. Got some decent finishes only problem is the time it takes playing live.

Was through Newcastle playing £22 buy in game at Aspers got down to final 5 and won £280 which was nice but started at 3 in the afternoon on a Sunday didn't get away til 2 in the morning was worth it though I suppose

Used to have a regular game in my mates poker shed but since his baby was born he's not had the time to host it, so not played poker for around 5-6 months now but would play in a base tourney if it's possible.

Only played online poker once on skypoker, my first hand was AK and the flop was A K and a low number card, don't know what it was, but somebody bet £5 into a £1 pot. All I had on the account was £5 but I called it (would you?) and couldn't believe it when the dude hit a straight with a 10 on the turn and then a queen on the river, what clown bets into a AK flop with jack-3?

Hated the ******* queen of hearts since. :@

I know it's only a fiver but it always ****** me off thinking about it. Safe to say, not played online since.

Internet poker all over, way too many noobs who have no idea!
 
lol, aimed at me or the other dude? I know I'm no pro, but would you not back your AK when AK flops?
 
My mates play it every week and I'm the only one who doesn't because I can't play!
Its so annoying :'(
