Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy is being investigated by police and the Football Association after an altercation with a supporter during the 4-3 derby loss at Old Trafford.
The tool that ran on was already being dealt with by the stewards though, 3 of them had him restrained, and then Bellamy decides to go and push him in the face. I don't see how you can defend Bellamy, the 'fan' that ran on didn't do anything in particular to upset Bellamy, he had no reason to do what he did.
Whether you like it or not Bellamy did break the law by pushing him, committing battery. As he did this while on the football pitch he should be punished by both the FA, and the law (if the victim presses charges).
