I am trying to decide who to be in FM. I must admit I have not enjoyed it one bit so far as I have found things far too easy but I cant go through an edition of FM without a long term story!!!!

I have thought of a few teams to be (my usual suspects) but I am willing to go someone else if there is a huge demand or even if only 1 person suggests 1 club and when I check them out and I like it I will go them.

I should point out that I have spent the last week updating the database so it is up-to-date and it will be a 1 club save.

The team that I have supported for over 20 years. To be manager of them just to sack Joe Kinnear would be a pleasure lol

My local team who I have had a season ticket for in the past. Would be nice to do better than my good friend Stonecold after his effort last year!!!!

My spiritual FM team. Had a story when it first came out and won the league in the first season which ironically just ruined it lol. Obviously this has transfer limitations and a save fully committed to developing youngsters.

OTHER THOUGHTS

Portsmouth, Sassuolo, Racing Santander, Peterhead.

FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST ANOTHER CLUB SAY STATE WHY YOU WANT ME TO BE THEM. I WOULD PREFER EITHER A TOP DIVISION CLUB OR A BOTTOM DIVISION ONE BUT WILL CONSIDER A CLUB INBETWEEN DIVISIONS IF IT APPEALS

Perhaps an English challenge with Crystal Palace, where by you aim to win the league with all English Players?

Or even harder go for an all Welsh team with Cardiff/Swansea

Does that mean I can only sign English or Welsh players?

Manage a team in Slovakia/Iceland/Croatia and turn them into a European force. Something you wont be able to achieve in a season ;)

Croatia may appeal...........

definitely croatia, but not the usual dinamo/hadjuk rubbish. randomise it and create a new dynasty

I would like to see you do a lower league long term save. The recent stories you've done you have had success very quickly and have been either big clubs or a club in the highest division, which may show that you lose interest too easy!
Whereby if you start very low down, you have the challenge and enjoyment of making the team a force on the pitch, seeing young players develop into the first team and also off the pitch, by improving training and youth facilities and the possibility of a stadium named after yourself!

A few of teams for you to look at could be: Gosport Borough, Concord Rangers, Bishops Stortford, Leamington, Gloucester City and there are a few more in the Skrill South/North you could look at too.

Whether you choose one of my suggestions or look at similar in another country, I hope you go down the lower league route.

Either way I'll be a follower. :)

Or you could do Bilbao, but with a little twist. You have to sell Iker Munain straight away XD.

Sheffield Utd / Portsmouth / Bradford City / AFC Wimbledon.

Not many people know this but I kinda flirted supporting Sheffield United before Newcastle. Had the top and everything. That was in the days of Dane Whitehouse, Brian Deane etc

this appeals greatly. however i remember my Hartlepool save (which i thoroughly enjoyed) last year where we got straight promotions and dominated. Gosport Borough to the CL lol

will load up a save and have a look at the Skrill North/South teams

I think you would be amazing at a Be a pro story. Such detail you do. Could even make 'Aitor'. If not I think you should do a Sporting CP story. RC Lens or Dinamo

I think you should mix it up and bring a small team from a small European league to the best in the world :)

Gosport Borough would be my choice! Couple of my mates play for them and I've done coaching with them before!!!

Yes I remember your Hartlepool save, but they have good foundations with young players etc, need to go much lower to make it more of a challenge! :)

Newcastle or other at the moment is tied....................

Obviously Newcastle holds a strong appeal but it would be too easy I feel
Dinamo Zagreb I like
A Skrill North/South team I will investigate further

Thought of being Crewe Alexandra, Wolves or Sheffield United (surely they wont go down to League 2 IRL)

Doesn't have to be a Skrill South/North club, could start in lowest Italian league or Spanish lower divisions!!

Just trying to help. :)
