Meh month two important wins against bolton and wolves are very important, utaka scored another hatrick against wolves to take his tally to 9 so far

a fans group are reprted to be interested in taking their clubs fortune into their own hands. although when feelings are involved it could cause failure as we seen in newcastle well watever does happen lets hope manager race reeps the benefits

Decent month, whcih saw us clim upto tenth though a defeat agaisnt arsenal sent us down to 11th at the end of the month the strike partnership of dindane and utaka profing to be awesome:D im quite happy with this teams performance so far. january transfer window just around the corner, who will race be wishing he could sign if only he could offer them bigger wages than 2.500 a week yes i know its shocking:(
 
Takeover

yet another possible takeover and yet again my job is in the balance, plus another transfer embargo in the january transfer window, when will it ever end:(
 
in anexclusive interview today manager ciaran race has styated that he is devasted by the impact the african nations has had on his squad. losing top players like utaka dindane and yebda

January wasnt the best of months although at the end we have climbed into tenth place but we are nine points of 9th place. the african nations has really hit my squad bad, losing goal machince utaka and dindane aswell as quincy and yebda. webber played well in his first game so hopefullywell not struggle to much.
 
Mid Season Report

Well seing since im jsut past halfway through the season i thought itd be good to do a slight report. well so far myplayerof the season has to be john utaka. his goal per game averge may not be all that impressive but i didnt expect to have any goalscorers at all and his 13 in 22 games is rather impressive for a guy whos finishing is 11. his partnership with aruna dindane seems to work and i am considering buying him since lens are only asking for £500,000. the defence has been rather sturdyseing since pompey are full of players who never reached there full potential, like van den borre,who i can personally remeber being hyped up with de jong a few Fms a go might have even been in champ man. well were currently lying in tenth place which i think is rather good considering the squad i inherited. were also through to the fifth round of the fa cup with a pleasing tie against wigan. theres also been two potential takeovers with both wanting to sack me, though im hoping they wont. :D
 
Raceto replace Mancini?

Today Man city have announced that roberto mancini has been fired due to poor results resulting in poor morale and an uprising from the squad lead by welshman craig bellamy whos had an ongoing fued with mancini, it has also been said today that pompey boss raceis amongst the favourites to replace him, will the youn manager move on or will he stay with ppompey?
 
Takeover complete

with the new takeover being completed at portsmouth there are signs that manager ciaran race will be replaced by sumone the chairman would prefer which could leave the door open for race to take charge of man city .....
 
New Owner

The new chiarman of portsmouth today has revileed that he will indeed be keeping new manager race in place for the short term as he considers who to sign as his new manager, leaving race wondering were his future lies.

a pritty bad month for me, might be getting the sack whilst this heavy lose against liverpool wouldnt have done much to help me out.

I've just started my save with Pompey, not liking the fact that you get £20m in the red in the bank balance at the end of July :(

New Manager Ciaran Race has been told today that his job is secure thanks to the welath of support from the fans for the job that hes done here so far.

Delighted this month especially against West ham. looking stronger towards the end of the season, were will we finish? will i still have a job? dum dum dummmmmmmmmm

how much did you get when the takeover was completed? Ive done a few newcastle saves and i read on here all the time of people getting a 100 million plus to spend, ive never had more than 15 million to spend. Never lost my job though which is a good point i suppose.
