well was a decent month in the league, but a league cup match against newcastle endded in msiery i left the match to finish when i went to worlk thinking i could come home to a nice little cup run but no we got hammered 5--1:| a major positive being the five nil hammering we handed to man city were bojinov came of the bench to get a hat trick, though hes started since and been majorly unimpressive so has traore, strikker need in jann
 
okay november is quite bad at the start was playin fiffa at the same time, so yeah thatl expail the badness

oh what a oh so bad baad bad bad bad month absolutely no positives from this. must improve if any chance of european qualifaction for next year.
 
Starlet Or Flop?

Today there has been news from portsmouth stating that anager ciaran race has managed to sign youn psv attacking medfielder ibraham afellay on a pre contract deal and he will join in the summer, its still to bee seen if he will be a good signing like burdisso or a flop like bojinov who has left for 3.5 million to ac milan, good bit of buisness though 3.5 mil profit
 
Race Fury

Portsmouth manager ciaran race is said to be infuriated with stephen finnans unwillingless to terminate his contract, finnan is one of the top earners at portsmouth and manager race has stated that his wage does not match his ability, he has offered the irishman to various clubs for free and noone has made an offer, how will race get rid of him.
 
Rosenborg

Striker marcus Rosenburg has agreed to join pompy at the end of the season on a pre contract deal, manager race said he signed the experienced striker as cover as he only has danny webber as cover at the minute and seen attack as a weak point of his team.
 
Mid Season Report

Well this season has been a bit better than the previous one with some good performances from the new players mainly, burdisso, zuculini and baptista. already i can see that i neeed a whole new defence including goalkeeper to do well next year and a proven goalscorer as at times utaka just doesnt cut it infront of goal. my player of the season so far has to be burdisso the big man at the back has quite literally won matches on his own nothcing up an impressive 8 goals so far this season, maybe cb isnt his best position lol, even though utaka isnt a clinical finisher hes maniged 13 goals in 23 leaue aperances which is pritty good, probably gonna finish on twenty goals again. traore is also starting to impress since hes been geting a starting lone striker role.

mixed month a couple of impressive displays and a few less memorable ones.... was so excited over a 5-2 victory over tottenham i forgot to take the screenshot so jsut took a fixtures one sorry

we still showed we were a small club overachieveng as 5th place man city tore us apart after we led 2-1 at half time though we bouncewd straight back to take a well deserved hard fought victory over fello over achievers everton who are curently in third place.

Chelsea was a heartbraker we were playin well and looked like nickin it until they scored three absolute screamers and destroyed us, om dreading the affect of the cup of nations on my team, were a small squad and been left with no forwards except for the inconsistant baptista.

Great boost for my team Traore grabed player of the month and zuculini grabed young player of the month

For the second month runnin a pompey player has won player of the month, this time it was julio baptista and traore finished second in young player. got a brilliant result against sheffield united. moved us closer to european qualification, pompey for europe next year?
 
End of season

We were so close to beating united on the final day we had laods of chances and if wed managed to put them away we would have finished sixth and probably qualified for europe dunno if seventh gets me anywere? but who knows. traore finished second in young player of the year which i think is briliant for a player who only got the go ahead in december. once again utaka was in the team of the year but only managed third in the goal scoring ranks well heres my last few results along with the league table.
