Port Vale/ Lower League Tactic

Hi Guys,

I'm hoping someone can help.

I'm really struggling to develop any kind of tactic that suits my team.

I'm unable to purchase any new players as the club is in administration so have to go with what I've got.

The team has no DL (to speak of) 4 decent CM's, two decent AML and AMR and only two strikers.

No tactic I create/use seems to stop us leaking goals like a sieve and can't create a goal to save our lives.

I'm also really struggling to get my wingers to play as wingers. They rarely take on their man or put crosses into the box regardless of the instructions I give them?

Why not go for a 451, using a standard Balanced strategy using possession based shouts, switching to Counter when seeing that the opposition pushes up and there are space to exploit.
To make up for your poor DL, use the left MC as the more defensive and the right as the more attacking .

Bumping this topic up as I too am struggling with the vale. What are people's suggestions in the lower leagues?
