After Bruno Alves (FC Porto ex captain and the best central defender in the club) leaves Porto, to join Zenit, Nicolas Otamendi is the main name to replace Bruno Alves. The transfer fee will be around 6 - 8 million. Thoughts?
 
Wait is this official? If not shouldn't this be in the rumours thread?
 
I've missed out on a lot apparently. I thought there were a number of big clubs interested in Alves? Otamendi had a very good world cup imo, so he'll probably be a good signing, why are the two top Portuguese teams selling their best players (Moutinho left Sporting i believe)
