Portsmouth problem

I'm currently managing Pompey in the first season and my transfer embargo's been lifted, but when I try to sign a player on loan and they've agreed to the deal etc. it comes up with the message 'Transfer cannot be confirmed.' It's not like I don't have enough money to pay for the transfer because its a non-fee, 0% wage loan, so does anybody know how to fix this or has had any experience of this in the past?

I'm not sure, but I think you can't do any deals since there is takeover (embargo = takeover? )

Just check to see if the club is in a take over atm

If they had a transfer restriction that's one thing, but takeover will also stop the loans and transfers

Nope, had a takeover, transfer embargo lifted, debts restructured and it allows me to put in bids for players, yet whenever it comes to being confirmed, it says 'Transfer cannot be confirmed.' I'm having to play David ******* Norris centre back because I can't sign anyone

probably a similar problem to me. For some reason on the new game patch certain clubs haven't got a transfer budget at all and im trying to find a way i can get rid of that and put it back to how it used to be.
