Who said Benfica is better than Porto?

I did. And will, over and over again. No matter the table position, Benfica IS and ALWAYS will be better than that corrupt bunch of thugs people call 'team'.

Someone talked about referees up there, don't know if you are against SLB, but, if so, Benfica is the most robbed team in the League. Golden Whistle all over again, imo. from penalty's to cards, from fouls left to sign to disallowed legit goals.

Now, enough saying what everybody already knows. What about Meireles' goal? What a beauty, LFC are VERY lucky to have signed him.

Mate, I'm not saying that IMO, Benfica isn't better than Porto. As a benfiquista, my religion forbids that x) . I just said that because I was looking for the post davidmsantos was refering to... Overall it is obvious that Benfica is better... 32 titles against 24, and many other facts.

Really great goal. the best since Queiroz arrived, and IMO, the only goals which beat this are Maniche's against Netherlands in EURO2004 and Rui Costa's against England in that competition as well

stumbled across this thread and really enjoyed reading it including all the debating too! I don't know too much about the Portuguese league but think it is underrated after watching a couple of the teams in Europe. I will be subscribing to this thread to keep a close eye and how things develop

IMO, Toscano is a really decent striker, along with really good players in your squad like Rui Miguel, Nilson and Flavio Meireles. Last season you had a really good defender, Valdomiro, but he joined Setubal...

Joao Ribeiro is easily Guimaraes' best player imo.

Looks like Sporting is finally starting to turn their season around, hope this keeps up

Difficult game against Lyon, especially without Oscar Cardozo. We better win, or else we better start peppering for Europa League.
