Sporting ''smelling'' 3rd place =)
I hope porto wins so we can dream with the 2nd place *.*

It was a good weekend in Portugal with a lot of goals beeing scored, even in games between smaller teams such Setubal - Rio Ave and Portimonense - Académica

But F.C.Porto crushed Benfica on Sunday's match and the audience even had the privilege of seeing a Chicken running around Roberto's goal xD

And amazing victory for Beira-Mar and Vitoria de Guimarães, Beira-Mar because they won 3-2 to Braga, beeing a team recently promoted, and Vitoria because in 10min they switched the result to their favour

Sorry if i'm wrong but i think Benfica - Braga was delayed because both teams will play tuesday for the champions league

See here (link in portuguese). As Braga and Benfica both had to play for the UCL, the game had to take place either Friday or Saturday. As the summit was in those dates, and as they couldn't play Sunday due to Braga x Arsenal which takes place Tuesday, the game had to delayed. So, the main reason was the summit. But I see your point

**** off you mong. Don't comment on the thread with that ****!

Porto SHOULD win the league this year, hopefully Benfica will come second at the bare minimum and we get a good cup run, but we're missing Di Maria and Ramires.

You are missing both a lot TBH, especially Ramires who was the engine of the midfield .

F**k off you silly c**t, go back to your dream world where you are the biggest Chelsea fan in the world. BTW, you are a c**t, just like John Terry.....

*Sigh*

Yeah, the Premier League rules, England rules, the Rest of the World is sh**. Go back to your millions, to your club with no history. As a Chelsea fan, you should really thank the Portuguese football. I'd like to know where Chelsea would be without Mourinho (and Abrahmovic). And if you don't like Ramires, Bosingwa or Ferreira or didn't like Carvalho, Deco and many others, be my guest and return them.

C***

EDIT: And this sucking league gave birth to many careers you might know: C. Ronaldo, Nani and Eusebio, for example, and was a starting point for Di Maria, Anderson, and many others that I won't even waste my time numbering. You're not worth it

There is not a single english player that was/is better than C. Ronaldo or Figo. Also, the top sides in the Premier League hardly have any english players in their starting 11, with a few exceptions.

The portuguese league isnt good, but its decent. It is better than SPL, Dutch and Belgian League. There is a number of reasons for portuguese football being inbalanced, which i wont name here, for i would have to write a wall of text, and honestly, cba.

Also, we dont have the G's to invest in footie that there are in england.

nuff said.

Our league is bad? Yes it is. However
But can anyone remind how have been the latest confrontations between Portugal and England? .... Figures.

And as my fellow countrymen said above, its all about the money, that is the main factor that keeps our leagues separate, if it weren't for the huge financial power in england (plus overrated players, overrated transfers and wages) we'd be better than England, I have no doubt.
We have a small and poor country and yet we have one of the best National teams worldwide, and some of the best footballers of all time, like Figo, eusebio and Cristiano Ronaldo. And we have the best manager in the World, Mourinho, we also have the team with most associates in the world, Benfica, we have THE most succesful team of the last 10 years (Porto, unfortunately :p ) .
Not to mention that this year, Braga, in their first time ever in CL, beat Celtic AND Sevilha!

Yeah... we suck :D (sarcasm)
