Posh sack Cooper Already!

Peterborough Uited have sacked Mark Cooper after just 2 months in charge.We knew sacking Darren Ferguson was a mistake,its pretty obvious Barry Fry hasnt got the brains he was born with,but we already knew that.

Paul Hart was not sacked from QPR. Any way different clubs so no relevance anyway.

How do you know Barry Fry has nothing to do with it? If you had watched Big Ron Manager on Sky one you would know that while MacAnthony is chairman and owner he leaves all the footballing decisions to Fry.

i find the sacking of cooper a disgrace Chairmen or directors are too quick to sack managers sticking with managers does bring sucess just look at Man utd,arsenal as they stuck with Fergie and wenger.... and i kno Man utd an arsenal have had more money but the priciple's the same if u stick with a manager u are more than likely to do a lot better rather than chop and change all the time.

So why is Fry still there then? Why was Fry doing all the talking at the press conference after sacking Ferguson? He was even speaking over MacAnthony when he was trying to speak. Who ever is behind this they have expectations that are far too big.Posh over acheived big time last season,they were always going to struggle no matter who was manager.

I agree with you 100% The chairman came out, Last week? and publicly slated the former backroom team and the current one for the horrible season they have had.

Harsh standards. They clearly have one of the poorest squads, It was not his own players and he just took the jump from Conference to Championship.

cooper was a clown, exodus geoghan is one of the worst footballers ive ever seen, good knows why cooper took him to posh with him from kettering. we needed a big name manager to save us, not some chump and his band of non-league players from kettering fc.

we have by far the weakest squad in the championship, its essentially our league one team with 3 or 4 players added in the summer, all of whom came from..... league 1! george boyd is our only hope, and our best striker: Aaronn Maclean has been frozen out since he demanded a transfer after unfair treatment (he was dropped for the newcastle game for no reason at all)

we are down, oh well at least the half time pies will be a bit cheaper next season.......

exactly, and whilst fergies management skills took us to the championship, the combination of frys scouting/acquisition of payers and mcanthonys penny pinching meant the sqaud improvement has been minimal

Should never of sacked Ferguson, he would of saved them in my opinion. Whoever is behind it, certainly has no idea about football.
