Positional help please.

Ive started a game as man city and did very well the first season. Second season i started shortly after the first couple games of the new premier league season irl and decided i wanted to have a go at guardiolas tactic. My main issue is i could do with a good half back but dont know anything about the role or the players best suited to it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
