I have a super idea, or atleast an awesome thougt.
Would´t be nice to own your own club, On one of my saves I have saved up almost 35m on my own pay-check. That I think would be enough to purchase a Championship club much like Dag & Red or something alike.

I would like to hear your thoughts on this :D

Cheers :D

yeh but you'd spend that 35million in real life

i would like to see this , would be fun buying a club with your career earnings.

I think this is a good idea to be able to spend your earnings although i think the idea of buying a club of them is completely unrealistic. SI should either scrap the wages and just put a job offer in (with promises like seen on many suggestion for FM13 threads) or actually allow us to spend them

could put an option in the game for people who dont want it and people that do

Would make ultimate challenge for sure.

Start with Blue Square team>make it all the way to champions league>buy your own club with career earnings>> take it all the way to Champions League.

Realistically you'd be 200 years old by the time you complete the challenge (if ever). But hey, still sounds like fun.

I always felt that you should be able to use your wages to offer above what the club can offer. A player can't settle in the area, you can buy him a house warming gift (3 options, the more expensive option gives the most positive results), if a player needs to visit a specialist, you can pay for it yourself and get a 50% chance you'll be added to his favored personnel, ect.

i think the most obvious one would be if you're club starts to have financial troubles then you can invest your lifetime earnings into it and take a pay cut or if there's a player you really want but the board says they won't increase the transfer budget then you should have the option of proposing to buy him out of your own pocket or pay the extra the board won't allow of his wages out of your own pocket.

Yeah there are loads of ideas SI could implement, mostly to do with how you spend your wages. Because they would have to include living (e.g. house, bills etc)

You could buy stocks from the club you manage, or even other clubs which in return might earn you more money etc. Then ultimatley something like purchasing a club or being able to bail out a club from financial trouble.

But again, as people here are showing there are soooooo many ideas.
