All players "fewer risky passes"
All players "Long shot less"
All players "Pass shorter"
All players apart from wingers "Dribble Less"

Much lower tempo, Work ball into box, Pass it shorter, retain Possession, more discilined, Exploit the middle.

Also play a formation with a lot of central players.

Use these tactics as they get lots of possession.

Why? You don't need over 60% possession. Plus you won't ever achieve that consistently without a good team. You should also detail why you aren't keeping possession and a description of your tactics so people can identify why you are losing possession.

Not to be rude, but ignore this. You have just told him to tell his players to pass the ball sideways to eachoher with no potency or urge to put through a through ball. Remember SPurs under AVB? Who on earth wants to play like that? Pedestrian football played at a mind numbing tempo which would be EASY to defend against.

I achieve 55-60% possession regularly but I do not intend to do so. I use one of those shouts, "pass shorter" and sometimes WBITB and ETM when needed. The others should only be used when you are seeing out a lead, never should be starting shouts. Plus why tell wingers to dribble less? Why play wingers at all if you do not want them to dribble? I am now thinking you were being sarcastic because there is no way anyone who plays FM and has a basic understanding of the game would even suggest this.

I am not one to slate someone's tactical methods but a lot and I mean A LOT of people have become obsessed with having high possession since the rise of Pep. Absolutely nothing wrong with this but some rather have the possession than win games and create chances. Once they slump below 60% they panic. You need to have possession where it hurts the opposition. You are not hurting them by passing it sideways in front of 10 men.

If you play the way I said with a good formation you will get CCCs on this game. But if the OP wants to ignore then thats fine as well. The tactics I linked in my first post have the same principles and score goals
