Hi all
Next week I am interested in purchasing a laptop in order to play Football manager at a better rate, and hopefully venture into other PC titles as time progresses. However I have an issue that relates to myself having little to no knowledge on laptop specifications and as such, is troubling me when deciding on what laptop to actually buy.
Having browsed through various threads and tech related forums, it seems the three most covered specifications when considering a laptop relates to: a graphics card, RAM (8GB) and a processor.

I have a budget that is in the region of £300 - £380 (I can go slightly above this) and although this by no means will be enough for an excellent laptop, I still hope it can get me one that falls in the 'decent' category.

Can anyone possibly recommend a laptop that meets the requirements specified?

Thanks

What did you choose in the end? And do you think getting insurance for the laptop might be worth it? I’m in a similar budget range and a bit worried about something going wrong after buying.

Even if you go refurbished and get better specs for the price, having some kind of coverage could give peace of mind, especially if it’s your main device. Just make sure it’s from a trusted seller with at least a short warranty. I recently stumbled upon some Akko reviews and decided to choose one of their plans.
